Refund policy

At Pruthviraj Sarees, we maintain strict quality checks before dispatch. All our products are showcased clearly during our social media live sessions. Customers are requested to read the following policy carefully before placing an order.


Important Notice

  • All products are shown clearly during our social media live sessions before sale.

  • Returns or refunds will NOT be accepted for reasons such as:

    • “Aavadle nahi” (Did not like it)

    • Change of mind

    • “I expected something different”

    • Slight colour difference (due to lighting/screen resolution)

    • Slight difference in fabric feel

    • Misuse, washing damage, or normal wear & tear


Eligible for Return / Refund

Return or refund will be accepted ONLY IF:

  • You have received a wrong product, OR

  • The product is damaged/defective at the time of delivery.


Mandatory 360° Opening Video (Very Important)

A 360° parcel opening video is compulsory for any type of return, refund, or exchange.

The video must:

  • Be continuous (No cuts / No pauses / No edits)

  • Clearly show the sealed parcel

  • Clearly show the parcel being opened

  • Clearly show the product condition

Without a proper opening video, no return, refund, or exchange will be approved under any circumstances.


Return Timeframe

  • You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Requests made after 48 hours will not be accepted.


Return Shipping Process

If return is approved:

  • Customer must self-ship the parcel via India Post only.

  • The customer must personally visit India Post and send the parcel.

  • Other courier services will not be accepted.

  • Return shipping charges will be borne by the customer.


Condition of Returned Product

If a return/replacement is approved:

  • Product must be unused

  • Product must be unwashed

  • Original tags and packaging must be intact

If the returned product is found used or damaged, it will be rejected and sent back to the customer.


Refund Process

  • Refund will be processed within 15 working days after the returned parcel is received and verified.

  • Refund will be made to the original payment method.

  • If the ordered product is out of stock, refund will be processed within 15 days to the original payment method.

Order Cancellation Charges

If you cancel your order, 2.36% (including 18% GST) payment gateway charges will be deducted from the total paid amount at the time of refund.


Replacement / Exchange Process

  1. Contact us via Phone / WhatsApp / Email within 48 hours.

  2. Share the mandatory parcel opening video.

  3. If approved, we will guide you regarding the return shipment process.

  4. Replacement will be dispatched only after we receive and verify the returned product.


Not Eligible for Replacement

Replacement will NOT be entertained for:

  • Slight colour difference (screen/lighting variation)

  • Slight difference in fabric feel

  • Change of mind

  • “I expected something different”

  • Misuse, washing damage, or wear & tear


Order Cancellation Rights

Pruthviraj Sarees reserves the full right to cancel and refund any order without prior customer approval in cases such as:

  • Incorrect or incomplete customer information

  • Courier delays

  • Manufacturing delays

  • Stock unavailability

  • Any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control


In the rare event that you receive a wrong or defective product, please note that due to our one-way service model, the customer is required to return the parcel to us via India Post.
Upon receiving the return package, our team will inspect the product and verify the issue. Once confirmed, the regular India Post shipping charges incurred by the customer will be fully refunded to them.
